We are a group of people that swing for the fences and push ourselves and each other to do the best possible scientific work we can. Every single one of us is as important as each other. We are going to share all the highs and lows of being scientists together. This is elaborated on in the culture and philosophy tab.

To make sure we are operating to the best we can - it's also important to identify team dynamics and communication.

This section is dedicated to explaining:

Undergraduate Research Assistants

My whole scientific career has been rooted in working as and with, undergraduate research assistants. It's something I'm really proud of and strive to develop a strong culture of support for it. Undergraduates volunteering in the lab have no expectations of minimum hours required. However, you will be asked to show commitment and reliability while you're with us.

Undergraduates receiving credit to work in the lab will be required to work the minimum hours needed to reach total hours for the credit.

Masters Students

Masters students in our lab will be trained on all things exercise oncology, with a specific emphasis on resistance training and programming. This will include, exercise testing and measurement techniques, body composition analysis, training program design and research methods. You will be trained in a way that is in line with our culture and philosophy; which is to do the best work you can, whilst respecting those around you.
